The bad numerology: Jaan-e-mann
The recent Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta starrer was name on numerology (well that’s what seemed to be the case if one look at the odd spelling : Jaanemann). And if that’s the case, it’s a clear case of bad numerology. Let me show you how :

The compund number for Jannemann comes out to be 28 which is not a lucky number.
28. A number of contradictions. It symbolized a person of great promise and possibilities who is likely to see all taken away from him unless he carefully arrange for the future. It also indicates loss through trust in others, opposition and competition in trade, danger of loss through law, and the likelihood of having to begin life’s road over and over again It is not a fortunate number.
Just why on earth anybody can choose such an unlucky name for a high budget movie. Probably they have calculated the name by using some other method than that of Cheiro.
Now in it’s 4th week here are some statistics of Jannemann.
Positives: Brilliant cinematography, excellent presentation.
Negetives: Formulaic story and Anu Malik’s music could have been better!
No. of Weeks: 4
Box Office Verdict: Collections little downed.
Though the it’s fared moderately on box office but certainly is not being considered a hit.
There could have been a better and luckier name for the movie.
If we spelled it like this : Jaan-e-man (Jaaneman) by removing the extra ‘n’ at the end the compund number we would get is 23 which is an extremely lucky number.
23. A very fortunate number. It indicates success, help from superiors and protection from those in high places. A most fortunate number in dealing with future events.
Further the name Jaaneman would be more appropriate phonetically also.
Can anybody tell this to Farha Khan or Shirish Kundur – the director ?
