Birthday Numerology, What Number are You?

Here is the basic formula for figuring out your Numerology “number”. This is considered your Life Path Number.

1) Add up the digits in your month of birth

2) Add up the digits in your day of birth

3) Add up the digits in your year of birth.

4) Add up the answers.

We keep adding the numbers until we end up with one digit.

Example: July 29, 1958

The month is July, which is the 7th month. 7 is a single digit so there is nothing to add, but if it was 22, it would be 2 + 2 = 4.

Going by our example again, the day is 29. 2 + 9 = 11. 1 + 1 = 2

The year is 1958. 1 + 9 + 5 + 8 = 23. 2 + 3 = 5

The totals then are 7 (from the month) 2 (from the day) 5 (from the year)

7 + 2 + 5 = 14 1 + 4 = 5

Therefore the numerology number for the example would be 5.

Name Numerology, the Blair Gorman way

What is in a name, they say, for it is the person that is more important. However, as master numerologist Blair Gorman puts it, the name can tell more about a person’s characteristics and destiny than what one might think. Since the early ages, different cultures have been using varied methods to determine names of children that would be auspicious and bring luck! Numerology, in this regard, has had a vital role to play in all of these cultures, in countries like China, India, Egypt, etc.

According to Blair Gorman, the way a person is named directly affects the usage of alphabets, which are directly connected to a person’s traits, career choices, marriage, and other aspects of the future. Each alphabet represents a number – like the alphabet I refers to the number 9, C is a representation for the number 3, and similarly. Just by choosing a different name for one’s child, parents can dramatically change the shape of things to come. However, just because someone has been named Jack instead of a more appropriate Jonathan, does not mean that there is no scope for improvement. All that is needed is the consultancy of an expert numerologist, who has a sound knowledge of name numerology.

There are different calculations that can be used to derive meaning out of a person’s name, and the amount of details that can be revealed are fascinating, to say the least. For instance, when it comes to career decisions, one can know in advance which careers are going to be more lucrative as far as growth opportunities are concerned, resulting in him/her concentrating efforts in that domain, instead of trying one’s luck at different professions. In love life as well, numerology can serve two purposes at once, according to Blair Gorman. First, it can tell a person which stage in life would true love comes knocking on their door, and second, it can also tell them regarding their compatibility with their partner.

Name Numerology – What does YOUR name reveal about you?

Name numerology is one of those subjects that can raise a few eyebrows. After all, how can your name actually mean anything? Isn’t it simply something to use to identify ourselves from everyone else?

Perhaps, but here’s some food for thought. Have you ever reacted to a name? Has the sound of a name made you feel anything? Do you have a favorite name? Have you ever said ” I’d never call my child that name” or “I hate that name” or “I love that name, I wish I had been called that”. Do you know your name meanings?

Personally I love the name Jess and if I ever change my first name that is the name I would choose. I have no idea why I like it, but I also happen to like most names that begin with a J. Jack is my favorite man’s name. Interestingly I found out that I was nearly called Jess after my Grandmother but it didn’t sound right with the surname, so I was named Joanna. According to Numerology that decision affected my personality, my career choices and my destiny, because the name Joanna totals a completely different number to Jess and therefore brings me different traits and qualities.

Since ancient times, names have been thought to have deep meanings and influence upon us. Name numerology was used by The ancient Chaldeans, Egyptians, Essenes, Hindus, the sages of ancient China and the wise ones in the Arabic world. They were all masters in the meanings of numbers. It isn’t some new age fad, but an extemely long-lasting system that really has stood the test of time.

According to Name Numerology each letter of our names has a corresponding number. For example the letter H is an 8, the letter N is a 5 and the letter R is a 9. These numbers all have meanings and qualities. There are different calculations we can do using the numerology alphabet together with our full birth names and date of birth to find out different things about ourselves. The depth of information is incredible.

It’s very useful for helping you make career decisions because Name Numerology reveals which careers you are best suited to. Why spend most of your life working in a career that doesn’t make the most of your talents and abilities?

We all want to be happy and fulfilled (don’t we?) so Numerology is one tool that can help us to fulfill our potential and make the best decisions. It also enables us to understand ourselves and others much better. So, it can help in our relationships.

Interestingly, it can also tell us what our own individual destiny is. If you have ever wondered if you are on the right path, or if you feel un-fulfilled, this may be of interest to you.

Imagine for a moment that Name Numerology is a credible system. That means that we each carry a blueprint about ourselves within our names that can help us throughout our lives. What an amazing thought!
